Artwork created for the group exhibition entitled 'Sketch' at SMITH Studio Fine Art Gallery Cape Town. My intention was to explore the details of existing sketches I've created by trying to capture the emotion of the line work through an intuitive process of magnifying and cropping parts to create a larger close-up piece. I focused on the intricacies of the line work with the overlay of separate layers which in some cases completely revealed or concealed some parts of the layers underneath.
